Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival at Budapest where East and West have met for 2000 years. Relax at the hotel. Greeting and concert in the former home and studio of Molnár-C. Pál (1894-1981), one of the most popular painters and graphic artists of this century. Dinner in a champagne-cellar, surprise program at the most famous restaurant in the Castle district.

Day 2: Budapest. The secrets of the capital and the life of its 2-million residents revealed. Sight-seeing tour introducing the wonders of Buda and Pest. Reception at the House of Hungarian Wines. Short introduction to Hungary's wine-districts. Meeting with Hungarian wine experts. Lunch, sampling Hungarian culinary delights. Free time in the city, visiting the capital's most elegant shops and most famous cafes. "Rendezvous with Buda and Pest" - afternoon boat trip along the beautiful banks of the Danube where you can listen to the conversation of "King Buda" and "Queen Pest". A visit to Margaret Island, the most scenic of Budapest's parks, full of historic excavations, natural beauty and unfound secrets. Walk, or a unique cycle ride on tandems (up to five people). Coffee and ice-cream under the shade of the park's ancient trees. Relax at the hotel. Performance at the splendid Opera House, which still keeps the memory of world-famous musicians such as Liszt, Bartók, Mahler and Pavarotti . Theatrical dinner at a real bohemian restaurant.

Day 3: Travel to Fülöpszállás (100km) through the real Hungarian 'puszta'. Presentation of traditions and special attractions (horse programme), followed by the well-known 'Gulyás' soup and Hungarian gypsy music. Kalocsa - organ concert at the bishop's cathedral. Visit to the House of Folk Art, an exhibition of the most famous Hungarian embroideries. Hajós (20km) - visit to the unique village of 2000 wine cellars. Camp-fire, 'Gulyás' party. Night stop in the guest rooms of wine cellars.

Day 4: Mohács (180km) - visit to the special historical park, where it is possible to sense the spirit of the past. Villány (30km) - rich professional programme, meeting with top wine experts of the area Night stop in Villány.

Day 5: Pécs (35km) - walk in the capital of South-Transdanubia, where history spans the time of the Roman and Turkish Empires right up to the 21st century. Free time in the downtownarea Lunch - top quality red wines, family wine cellars, rich traditions. Departure with gifts and a sad farewell to our honoured guests!
